Consider, a team approach to improving fitness and changing your body shape. Begin the new year with a small group that meets at our church to take-on lifestyle adjustments and make goals to get fit. We want to offer focused discussion on health topics, set individual goals, and together help one another with a shared challenge – lifestyle changes to improve fitness and push away chronic disease. We will do this together by meeting weekly to consider health topics, account for individual goals, and share small wins. Anticipate about a 3-month journey (change takes time) from beginning to end. We will begin JAN 5, 2025 and complete in April. Anticipate meeting once weekly as a small group, led by Greg Torrescano and Burt Newman, to discuss health topics and facilitate accounting for individual health goals. My background as a physician will help select high yield topics that consider current science while leaning into the nuance of what each member brings to the group.
